Hi, for three of our custom sites we have built a new module called og_contribute. Each time a new organic group is created we automatically create a CiviContribute page. The contribution page shows up on the organic group home page in a block, and as a link to the group content type. The contribution link will show up each group teaser. Group administrators can also see a forced search of CiviContribute donations for that particular organic group's civicontribute page.
This module uses the CivicSpaceOnDemand profile building system to auto generate content. If you would be interested in a group based custom CSOD site please contact us.

In order to receive online donations in your site using PayPal. You'll need to allow CivicSpace to process PayPal transactions in your behalf. These transactions are made through secure connections to the PayPal servers using APIs (Application Programming Interface).
These steps will guide you on how to upgrade your PayPal account.
How do we add the Google Checkout Merchant key to civicrm.settings.php as mentioned in the civicrm documentation?
When your site is upgraded from CiviCRM 1.5 to CiviCRM 1.7 there now needs to be Access Control List permissions for your custom fields.
To get custom fields back create 4 ACLs under access control in CiviCRM admin. view/edit everyone for custom fields and everyone for profiles. That is not the best default ACL set up, but it will solve the immediate problem
Cheers,
