How to forward existing registered domain to point to a civicspacelabs.org subdomain?

Is there any way to set a default value for the State/Province field?

Is there any way to convert the state value to the 2-character USPS abbreviation?

My client would like to upload a large mp3 file. What is the maximum file size, and is there any way to increase the limit with CSOD? Thanks!

Hello All!

I am brand spanking new to C.S.O.D., and since there is little user documentation, I guess it is up to the users to create it. My intention is to give my best to seeking out the answers to questions that come up while I theme a site for my client. As my understanding grows it is my intention to put together a how to document that documents what I did, in the hope that it will help someone else who is just starting out.

So here are the questions that I have come up with so far...

1. I am using a template that uses images placed within the html (I know, I know.... It is not symantically correct!) I have uploaded the images but have no idea what the url should be to link the images. For that matter, I have a number of background images that are specified within the css file and do not have any idea what the path would be to the images that I uploaded using Themestyler...
2. In addition to the main css document that I uploaded, I have two other css documents that I would like to link to the main template using conditional statements to make adjustments for IE7 and IE6, and I am not sure the best way to do this.
3. Is there a way to upload images en mass? For example, upload a folder of images?
4. How do I set hard links within my template. For example in my page.tpl, I have some links that are made into buttons that link to specific page nodes. How do I determine the correct url to hard code into the page.tpl file?
5. Since C.S.O.D. is a hosted product, where we do not have access to the server via ftp, etc. can anyone recommend a development workflow? I need a way to be able to configure/revise templates locally and then upload them. I am new to themestyler and it seems that the only way to do this is through cut and paste of the various theme page template docs, uploaded docs and images... Any suggestions???

When a new site is set up on CSOD (CivicSpaceOnDemand), a published page is created with the Installation Log. In order to unpublish that page, you need to uncheck Published under Publishing Options, as well as change the Input Format to Filtered HTML or Full HTML.  Just something I figured out that may be useful to others.
