Under Organize > Create New Supporter, the website field requires you to start the web address with http://. Is there a way around this? Can it be set to auto-populate the http:// so a person can just start typing the www.?
Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!
When I go to Administer CiviCRM > Backup Data, it returns an empty SQL file, even though I have 28 records in my contact database. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks!

Hi,
I will need to import a lot of contacts (1,000 +) into my client's CiviCRM database that we're setting up on CSOD. It will have a number of custom fields, spanning a few custom data groups. My question is how to do this in CSOD? I can find information about doing it with custom installations of CivicSpace and Drupal, but I don't think I have access to the proper modules?
Also, can you give me any guidance as far as how to arrange my fields in the CSV/Excel file so that they line up properly with the fields in CiviCRM, especially given that I'll have custom fields spanning several custom data groups?
This works with both Groundswell and Groundswell Pro. You can create a directory of all the registered users on your website that opt into being listed in the member directory. Please provide feedback... if enough people want this functionality, we can make it a pre-configured part of Groundswell/ Groundswell Pro.
